Volunteers descend on Huntington State Beach for Earth Day cleanup event to beautify the coast

Over 150 student and adult volunteers came together on Saturday morning to clean up Huntington State Beach while learning about the ecosystem and protecting natural resources. OC students team with law enforcement to improve traffic safety and reduce underage drinking

Students participating in Friday Night Live programs at Bolsa Grande and Santiago high schools in the Garden Grove Unified School District were invited to present youth-led traffic safety and underage drinking projects at the recent Orange County DUI Forum. Hundreds of students to receive free backpacks, school supplies

On a warm Monday morning, a Feed the Children truck rolled into the Orange County Department of Education’s main campus and workers began unloading 22 pallets with boxes full of donated supplies for students experiencing homelessness.
