An OCDE librarian with the unique ability to connect with students who are incarcerated through her love of reading and her passion for learning has received the prestigious I Love My Librarian Award. Astronaut Leland Melvin, who voyaged to the International Space Station in 2008 and 2009, was the keynote speaker at the inaugural OC Pathways Showcase, held in Hangar 244 at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine.
