6 OC library branches offer free summer meals for kids

Did you know your child can receive free summer meals at six OC Public Library branches?

Lunch at the Library logoStarting this month, select libraries in Orange County are offering healthy lunches to children and teens age 18 and under weekdays at noon. All meals are served on a first-come-first-served basis, and no registration, identification or application is needed. If you’ve got a library card you can even pick up a few books while you’re there.

Lunch at the Library is a program of the California Library Association, supported by the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services. While the Tustin Library started its program on June 3, most will begin serving lunches at noon today.
