Parenting OC is getting ready to hold its ninth annual Spelling Bee, and the magazine is encouraging local teachers and parents to nominate top spellers from grades three, four and five.
The contest, which is not to be confused with the 2016 Orange County Spelling Bee, will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 7 at Fairmont Private Schools’ Anaheim Hills campus, located at 5310 E La Palma Ave. in Anaheim.
Space is limited, and the competition rules say no more than three spellers from a single school can enter, but the winner will receive a prize.
