Good news! On March 1, vaccinations will be avail Good news! On March 1, vaccinations will be available to all school-based employees with appointments. Updated state guidance says that 30 percent of new vaccine shipments will be allocated for education and childcare workers along with the food and agriculture sectors. And, OCDE is working with local school districts to set up additional vaccination PODs, with operational hours allowing school staff to participate outside their normal work schedules, including weekends. As these new sites come online, educators and support staff will be able to receive vaccinations at any location as long as they have an appointment. Online submissions must be completed by Friday, April 9, and a limit of 10 submissions per elementary school student and 25 per secondary school student is requested.
