The award-winning OCDE Newsroom was established in 2015 as a place for news and information about Orange County schools and the Orange County Department of Education, which directly serves some of the county’s most vulnerable student populations and supports 28 local districts with services necessary for their operations, including professional development, legal and fiscal guidance, high-speed internet access and security, payroll services and student enrichment.
As you can see, newer stories are generally posted at the top of the site, which continues to evolve to meet the needs of educators, families, students, school support staff and community members.
