Back-to-school excitement is on full display across Orange County, as schools share spirited first-day celebrations and campus traditions through social media posts.
The OC Pathways Student Leadership Summit brought nearly 100 Orange County students together to connect with STEM professionals, learn from program alumni and build skills for future careers and leadership.
Students across Orange County will begin returning to classrooms as soon as Aug. 6, starting with the Anaheim Elementary and Cypress school districts. Other OC campuses will reopen throughout August and into early September.
Gilbert High School was featured by Stanford University's John W. Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities for its student-centered approach to alternative education, highlighting how civic engagement and real-world learning opportunities are helping students succeed.
