Student literacy is an essential component of preparing students for college and career readiness. It is the goal of the Orange County Department of Education and Orange County Public Libraries to encourage reading, writing and creativity – and to highlight the efforts of young authors.
To that end, student writers will have an opportunity to showcase their work, meet published authors and engage in hands-on activities at the 14th annual Young Authors’ Faire, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 16 at OC Public Libraries in Aliso Viejo, La Habra and Tustin.
