Since opening in September, OCDE’s College and Career Preparatory Academy has filled a niche in Orange County by offering students who have aged out of traditional schools a path to a diploma — and possibly college.
Approved by the Orange County Board of Education, the free public charter school features a highly individualized program for young adults aged 18 to 25 that includes online courses, independent study, small-group instruction and career readiness skills.
We posted this story on the academy last month, but our Media Services team has since returned to talk to a few of the students and staff for the brief video above. Check it out.
