Last month, we followed the incredible run of Pacific Coast High School’s mock trial team, which reached the county finals for the first time with a relatively small 10-member squad.
That team of legal eagles was honored at Wednesday’s Orange County Board of Education meeting, but as Orange County Register writer Susan Christian Goulding notes, mock trial isn’t the only standout program at Pacific Coast High.
This week, the Register’s online edition published this feature story about PCHS, which blends traditional campus courses with independent study. In the piece, Goulding writes about the school’s flexibility, its drama program and its highly motivated students, with one parent calling PCHS “the best-kept secret in Orange County.”
