The Orange County High School Esports League, which kicked off its inaugural season on Jan. 31, is hosting a series of weekend workshops to help players hone their skills, learn more about the league and meet their fellow gamers in person.
From Feb. 17 through March 24, sessions covering such topics as building a gaming PC, lane strategy and casting will be held from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday at the Esports Arena on the UCI campus. The workshops are free and breakfast will be provided, but participants need to register in advance.
We’re told each Saturday will center on a theme connected to competitive play in the STEM-focused league, and students will get a chance to practice their new skills.
