Orange County administrators, curriculum coordinators, coaches and teachers will get a chance to preview new instructional materials aligned with the state standards for English language arts and English language development at next month’s ELA/ELD Instructional Materials Publishers’ Faire and Supplemental Materials Open House.
The event is set to take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29 at OCDE’s Building D conference center, located at 200 Kamus Drive in Costa Mesa. Guests must register in advance to attend, and they can do so here.
OCDE’s Instructional Services division is hosting the faire, which is divided into two parts: Inside the conference center, publishers will present K-8 English language arts and English language development instructional materials that have been adopted by the state Board of Education. Outside, instructional and supplemental materials covering all levels, from transitional kindergarten through the 12th grade, will be on display Open House-style.
