After earning its sixth Orange County Academic Dec After earning its sixth Orange County Academic Decathlon title in the past seven years, the decathlon team at Woodbridge High School is celebrating its win by gearing up for the next competitive feat. This year's theme, "Frontiers in History: People, Places, Ideas," prompted students from 28 schools across the county to work individually or in teams to conduct in-depth historical research on a relevant topic. Determined to fight trafficking and build communit Determined to fight trafficking and build community to prevent child exploitation, hundreds of people attended the Ensure Justice 2023 conference on March 3 and March 4.  “Finding A Way Home” was the theme of the hybrid conference, which featured both in-person and virtual presentations, making it accessible to attendees from Orange County and beyond. More than 16,000 elementary students from local sc More than 16,000 elementary students from local school districts took a field trip to the Honda Center in Anaheim on Thursday to explore science, technology, engineering and math through the game of hockey. The Ducks players spoke to students and led on-ice activities demonstrating how energy transfers occur in different game scenarios. The event also brought students outside of the center where partners Orange County Waste & Recycling and the Orange County Department of Education’s Inside the Outdoors program offered children an opportunity to learn how to help the environment.
