OCDE invites community to shape future website with survey input

The Orange County Department of Education is inviting you to take a brief survey that will help shape its new website.

Take the OCDE Website Development Survey

OCDE unveiled the current version of its website in 2017.

Set for an early 2026 launch, the next version of ocde.us is intended to create a more intuitive and accessible online experience tailored to the diverse needs of its users, which include department employees, district partners, local families and community members.

The survey features a handful of mostly open-ended prompts, which OCDE will use to identify the expectations, unmet needs and desired features and functionality of its online presence.

“Basically, we want to know what we don’t know — or haven’t thought to ask,” said OCDE Chief Communications Officer Ian Hanigan.

The OCDE Website Development Survey takes less than five minutes to complete, though participants have the option to provide more detailed feedback. All responses will be kept confidential.

You can find the survey at link.ocde.us/website-survey. The deadline to participate is April 12.
