The Ocean View School District knows its families value choice.
That’s why the district recently rebooted Lake View Elementary School to emphasize science, technology, engineering, arts and math. It’s why Westmont Elementary School is creating a visual and performing arts program that integrates arts and music into the curriculum. And it’s why the district is developing a new farm program at Golden View Elementary.
“We know that families want choice, and we are committed to offering interesting and innovative programs,” Superintendent Carol Hansen says.
For our latest OC District Pulse, we caught up with Dr. Hansen to learn more about the Ocean View School District and its 17 campuses, which serve nearly 8,500 students from preschool through grade eight in Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Midway City and Westminster. Take a look.
