Irvine-based Tillys recently stopped by San Juan Hills High School to give away 150 backpacks, coupons and other items to students.
The giveaway was part of the company’s ongoing effort to support students in its community with free merchandise to help them in their education. The act of kindness amounted to about $7,000 in Tillys merchandise.
Students chose from an assortment JanSport backpacks, ranging from pink and plaid colors and designs to the more traditional black and navy blue colors.
