Travis Ranch School wins $10,000 in national safety video competition (video)

Travis Ranch School in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District has been named the Western Region winner in the national KidSmartz Safety Dance Video Contest for their creative video aimed at empowering elementary school students to practice safe behaviors and learn abduction prevention skills.

The honors come with a $10,000 prize from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and their corporate partner Honeywell that was presented to the school at a ceremony this morning.
