OCDE invites feedback through annual Educational Partner Survey

Taking a survey

How can OCDE better serve the students, schools and districts of Orange County?

That’s the question at the heart of the department’s annual Educational Partner Survey, which opens Monday, Oct. 20, and runs through Friday, Nov. 21.

Along with providing direct instruction to the county’s most vulnerable student populations, OCDE supports local school districts with services necessary for their operations, including professional development, high-speed internet access and security, legal and fiscal guidance, payroll systems, Local Control and Accountability Plan assistance and approval, and student enrichment.

OCDE’s Research, Evaluation and Data Inquiry team, or REDI, oversees the annual survey as part of a strategic planning process designed to strengthen programs and services across all divisions. Feedback gathered each year helps identify what’s working well and where OCDE can improve to better support schools and students countywide.

“Your participation helps ensure that OCDE continues to provide high-quality, responsive support for our schools and districts,” said Orange County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Stefan Bean. “By learning directly from our partners, we can better align our efforts with the needs of students, educators and families.”

The survey takes just a few minutes to complete, and all responses are confidential. Participants have 48 hours to return and finish their survey using the same browser and device.
