Nationally acclaimed poet Arthur Sze, the 25th U.S. Poet Laureate will headline Orange County's Creative Edge Lecture on March 3, highlighting the role of the arts in education and building community.
As the Orange County Arts and Disability Festival marks its 50th anniversary, OCDE is calling for visual and performing arts entries ahead of the April event celebrating decades of creativity, inclusion and community.
The 2026 OCMAA Awards will honor arts educators, administrators and advocates from across Orange County this February at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Hosted by OCDE, the event will include new award categories and recognize excellence in multiple arts disciplines.
Orange County high school students can submit original songs for the USA 250-OC Theme Song Competition, with top entries earning $500 cash prizes. Supported by Fender, Cal State Fullerton and UC Irvine, winning songs will be performed at a countywide July 4, 2026 celebration.
