OCDE will host the 2025 OC Civic Learning Institute on Oct. 7 and Oct. 14 in Costa Mesa. The two-day professional learning event is designed to help TK-12 educators expand student voice, civic engagement and readiness.
Now on display at the Bowers Museum through Friday, July 18, the free Arts on the Move exhibit showcases expressive artwork by student artists with disabilities from across Orange County. The traveling show is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in recognition of Disability Pride Month.

Featuring more than 350 pieces by transitional kindergarten through 12th-grade students, the 2025 Junior Art Exhibit at the Festival of Arts of Laguna Beach opens July 2 in Partnership with OCDE and Arts Orange County. Selected from nearly 1,800 submissions, the display includes works by students with disabilities and 13 student-created films, showcasing creativity, inclusion and the importance of arts education.
