Teachers and administrators from the Orange County area will get a chance to learn about new educational technologies and digital content at Discovery Education’s “Day of Discovery,” which will be hosted in partnership with the Orange Unified School District next month.
The no-cost event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 24 at Yorba Middle School in Orange. Prospective participants can register here.
Organized by the Discovery Education Community, the Day of Discovery tour is stopping at various locations across North America and the U.K. in 2016, offering full-day professional learning experiences. Each event is designed to help teachers and administrators learn more about integrating digital content into their curriculum, provide opportunities for participants to share useful strategies and best practices, and connect attendees with fellow tech-minded educational leaders.
Keynote presentations and breakout sessions will feature members of the Discovery Education team and the Discovery Education Community. In addition, Orange’s Day of Discovery will provide opportunities for participants to network and connect in a relaxed environment.
Yorba Middle School is located at 935 N. Cambridge St. in Orange. To learn more about the Day of Discovery tour, or to register, visit www.dayofdiscoverytour.com.
